IRTENZ membership is open to all persons or companies of good standing and professionalism who are involved with or affiliated to the New Zealand road transport industry.

Overseas affiliates and reciprocal membership are accepted and encouraged. Membership is normally on an individual basis but corporate membership is available.

IRTENZ has established a Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to members (or any other person approved by the Council) to further their knowledge and technical expertise in matters associated with Road Transport.

This may include:

• attending conferences
• field trips to engineering and or production facilities
• tertiary courses on engineering/transport related subjects
