IRTENZ works closely with other groups to ensure common objectives and functions - notably safety and training - are fostered and coordinated. The groups with whom we are most regularly and closely involved with-in New Zealand are:

• Ministry of Transport
• Road Transport Certifying Engineers
• The New Zealand Truck-Trailer Manufacturers Federation
• Women in Transport

In addition, IRTENZ works with and helps other industry bodies and professionals who may from time to time raise issues or develop an involvement in road transport.
